Caring Clowns

To encourage young people to discover how wonderful it is to reach out to others our Caring Clown hospital visitation helps cheer up children in hospital and teach important skills to the young people themselves. Besides the wards we entertain children in the out patientsâ?? clinic (see picture below left) and also regularly visits the HIV/AIDS clinic where we minister to the children and their parents. It is heart breaking to see toddlers who will most likely have very short lives and the teenagers battling with their status. As we go around and pray with the children and their parents and try to share a little happiness, members of staff are continually encouraging us that this project is making a valuable contribution to the welfare of the children.
